Post diploma --- DMRD ..after practising for 5 years sometimes i feel one should not opt diplomas...they are always looked inferior.....one tries to do DNB ..so that he can be at par with masters..but DNB too sucks..passing ratio so less...
so frenz we cant diplomas be scrapped so that we students dont suffer.....our medical education system needs to be updated...plz give your honest opinion on this ........

yar ,i joined md phys in kgmc coz i think an md nonclinical 4m a good college is way better than a diploma.the future in terms of MES(medical college professorship)is secure,n you can reach the top in your field unlike a diploma holder who,no matter how efficient ,is made 2 feel inferior to those who are md in the same branch.

Quick Scroll physio??? 06.05.08 (2 months ago) #6

well, with physio, you will be literally gifted a lecturership after md,so no job hunting.those who are interested in research,4 them the sky is the limit.plus,in our college some very sophisticated diagnostic procedures are done in physio(ABER,NCV,EMGetc).plus since you are teaching gen exam.etc, you don't completely lose that 'doctor'feeling.i joined as a compromise, but have decided to stay back and give it my best, let us see icon_smile.gif icon_biggrin.gif

MD/MS is always better than diplomas,at bad rank one should take diploma in their favourate subjects rather than degree unwanted subjects.Becoz in later time u have to compromise, although u may get a gud position u may feel unmotivated, but if u have ur dream subject,u'll be always charged n motivated and u'll have command over subject n situations even in adverse phase of life.It gives an internal satisfaction and dont bother abt what others say, harrassing others is a sign of internal dissatisfaction and frustation. Its my view,u may differ. icon_redface.gif

And last of all, you can do DNB or slog once again to get md/ms in that sub. If u can suceed nothing can be better. But, once u take pre/para degree, dream 4 ur favourite stream ends there.
So frnds go for clinical diplomas in such cases, but never shatter ur ambition.
