august 2007 ce1

acute abdomen: diverticulitis: history taking and physical examination, the examiner asked questions: what is your working diagnosis? differential diagnosis, investigations and management.

child with enuresis. history taking from the mother. examiner asked qustions like: diagnosis, differential diagnosis, management and what will you do in the physical examination

baby with vomiting: hypertrophic pyloric stenosis. diagnosis, differential diagnosis and management.

lower abdominal pain in female: pelvic inflammatory disease. what is the working diagnosis? what are three things you should inquire about in this patient, management.

pharmacist refuse to give a BCP prescriptio to a young girl who he knows her family well. you should talk to this pharmacist about that.

counselling of pregnant woman about breastfeeding.

a woman diagnosed with cancer and she refuse chemotherapy but she wants to go to mexico and try herbal therapy....counsel.

young woman who broke up with her boyfriend came to see you accompanied by her sister saying that she is not herself these days. diagnosis: adjustement disorder.

psychotic patient with delusions and hallucinations... case of drug induced psychosis. history taking and mental status examination.

case of multiple trauma with abrasion on the head and pneumothorax. management. you should do everything from the head to the feet but you start first by treating the pneumothorax because it's a lifethreatning condition.

man with congestive heart failure. do a physical exam. cardivascular exam then you liten to the base of the lungs and JVP measurement.
managment.

man comes for arm weakness. history taking and neurological exam. case of TIA.

Hi Paula this is so great of you. You are still answering all questions inspite of being selected for residency.

Paula do you know other cases asked in May. I have my exam on 19 June. I am so stressed out. I would be grEat of you if you can tell me the other cases they have asked.
