Quick Scroll DPG 2nd Counselling 2008 06.01.08 (3 months ago) #1

I heard there is going to be a 2nd counselling for wait-listed candidates. Can someone tell me if there is any use of attending it when AIPGEE already conducted an extended 2nd counselling. Why are they conducting a second counselling when there are no seats left? And if there are any seats left then could someone tell me approximately which ones?

I am deep down in trouble. Its been 3 yrs since i graduated n i havent started my PG. Please help.

yes there was a second counselling last year also . wherein 2 mamc medicine 2 uc medicine and one surgery mamc got vacant . and ranks who had put their names in waiting list got these seats . its all a matter of chance . this year there is not much chance of any seats getting vacant.

But i still think there's no harm in attending the counseling.

Well, one more thing i wanted to ask... my rank is in 190's. Do i stand a chance if there are any seats, or would it just be a waste of time. I mean do you know how many candidates have opted to be wait-listed?

icon_biggrin.gif What a flopshow it has been. Today's counselling has been postponed to 9th June without prior notice... There seem to be no degrees left, i am aware of 1 DGO st .stephans... the management staff did not divulge any other news.

Best of luck to all those who still wish to attend it.

Just had a few hard feelings to share...
Its is so unfair...
The paper has become tougher to clear.....
Less no. of seats are there now and
There is no scope for seats coming back from AIPGEE

It seems everyoneseems to be winning cases and we are the only losers...

Actually i had gone up to the 6 th floor that day. I waited for the concerned staff, named Deepak for some time but couldnt meet him. Another person on the desk gave me this info abt St. Stephans. Well i am not interested in this counseling anymore. He told me that there's a huge no. of wait listed candidates this time, many are before my rank.

So, this counseling is nothing more than a waste of time for me. Anyways, it was nice to have somebody to talk to at this time... Best of luck.
