Quick Scroll Second Counselling Stalled - Protest by Non Medicos for judg 06.09.08 (4 months ago) #1

Court has given judgement to provide seats for those who have filed case. A good compromise, (Folks who have fought deserve this win!!!) by judiciary system. Basic premise of any such petition is representative, court on its own responsibility to determine the impact, looking beyond petitioners. I feel this was not done in this case for several known reasons which anyone will know.

Interesting point here is this is a democratic country and any judgement will have impact on either party, so in a truly democratic sense people who are affected SHOULD BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO TO APPEAL. In that sense, giving judgement at 1.30PM and implementing judgement at 2PM (Which is irreversible) is giving a feeling are we living in India? Does really anyone there to take care of this injustice in this government..?

So NON MEDICOS have stalled the counselling against this ruling

Kudos Non Medicos, these are the frustrations which was vented out on sunday and again today...though it is bit late...

Regards
Doc Van

The shabby display of urgency by the DME n the procrastinating stance of the government in the legal suit just shows how this was a perfect "SET UP" in the making, to appease a lobby of proud "self centric" doctors. Certainly this day should go down in the history as blackday for medical fraternity in india. icon_sad.gif icon_sad.gif icon_sad.gif
I have a serious question to be answered, when the govt has decided to force upon the compulsory service for completing PG doctors since 2 years, why on earth does this "exclusive reservation" for some "Elite club" of doctors still holds water. icon_rolleyes.gif. This must be a serious joke forced upon a huge number of ill fated, pityful "Non service" doctors. My heart goes out to each one of them.
May God Bless us to be rightly guided.

Compromise is called as the art of cutting a cake in such a way that each party feels that he has the bigger share

-

If at all there is a skill which involves cutting a cake in such a way that each party feels that he has the smaller share, the Selection Committee will top the list of most skilled person

-

They knew that 1000 doctors will come. Can' they arrange for 1000 rented shares and a Shamiana

Or can't they just open two or three lecture halls

Disgraceful

NO compromise for nonservice candidates.Only Consolation prizes for nonervice candidates.Very few seats nonclinical seats which were remaining in the counselling because service candidates refused to take in the first counselling were open for Todays counselling to BOTH NONSERVICE and SERVICE candidates.

The court has refused to order recounselling which means all those highly prized specialities like Radiology ,neurosurgery are only for SERVICE CANDIDATES.
