ive encountered a case of inoculated herpes simplex due to a scratch on da nose of da patient by a kid..initial therapy has resulted in healing of the lesion.the patient complains of hyperpigmentation in the area now! a female patient aged 21 is rather difficult to convince...any advice wld be of great help..id like to knw da cause for hyperpigmentation and also its treatment...please be liberal in ur replies...thank u!
