After discussing all the relevant points in my "Double-99" thread if you don't understand the system then GOD help you.

This is a rubbish question. People with scores in 80s managed IM while many with their scores in 90s were unmatched. Getting a residency depends on many factors, a single factor never counts. Just remember this last statement of mine.
Some people manage to get USCE (even hands-on) but end up getting an average or bad LOR, some of those who get Good LORs end up with scores in 80s, some of those who get scores in 90s end up with an attempt in CS.
Those lucky ones who get USCE, Good LORs, Good Scores blah ! blah ! blah ! have poor interview skills... he ! he !
Getting Pediatrics is slightly easier than Internal Medicine.
Remember my statement A single factor never counts .

can I ask please of what is the chance for being accepted for a residency program if you were graduated more than three years from the medical school, because I honestly heard that the chances to accept an IMG in residency these days is very little especially if they are old graduates, does anybody know anyone who has been accepted into residency and has been graduated more than three years ago???

chances for old IMG:
If u have done PG from home country n applying for same specialty ur chances r pretty good
so old IMG have equally good chances or at times better if u have done pg .,research ,papers n publications in good journals, etc in ur 3 yrs..
In fact USMLE
insecurity is so much increasing I feel its not a bad idea to do pg in India n come ...
