The T1 image is basically for the structure of the organ(brain)and associated changes with it.The T2 image reflect fluid changes in the organ(edema)

am not much very good at this but cud find out bit between T1 ( spinal cord CSF looks black in colour in this) and T2 ( spinal cord CSF looks white in colour in this ) basic difference which can be seen.. kinda lay man differenciation i guess but hope it helps.icon_smile.gif
