As I thought, you have to give with methotrexate, because of the impending folate difficiency anemiya. This is one reason why if patient on methtrexate we have to place women on contraception and with man we have to make sure that he uses condoms.
I was thinking it could be antibiotic, due to severe liver toxicity.

C/ antibiotic

it causes decrese elimination of methotrexate can be fatal.. especially pencillin & ciprofloxacin antibiotics

Patients being treated with methotrexate for cancer should avoid folic acid supplements also , unless recommended by their oncologist. Folic acid could interfere with the anticancer effects of methotrexate
though in arthritis methotrexate is given along with folic acid
