Q. 17. Commenest cause of epistaxis is :
a. Hypertention
b. Drying
c. Crusting
d. Nose picking
In elderly it is hypertension and in children it is nosepicking but age has not been mentioned anywhere what should be the ans?

IN GENERAL THE ANS SHOULD BE NOSE PICK ING AS

LOGICALLY IT WILL BE QUITE RARE THAT A CHILD WILL HAVE HYPERTENSION

AND AN ADULT CAN ALSO HAVE EPISTAXIS DUE TO NOSE PICKING

WHAT DO U SAY

i know it should be nose picking only and i also remember the same we used to learn in our ENT classes that most frequent cause of epistaxis is nose picking
