As usual, tht's a question 4m Salgu. ,rite ?

The answer they have given is bladder neck contracture, but its s'posed to be wrong. BPH is
commoner thn Bladder neck contracture .

UB diverticulum : protrusion of bladder mucosa thru its muscular layer

Congenital : rare , its a/w POSTERIOR URETHRAL VALVE or NEUROGENIC UB

acquired or pulsion : secondary to bladder outlet obstruction

traction diverticulum : portion of UB protrudes thru inguinal or femoral orifice

most patients who have diverticulum become symptom free after prostate is resected....no need for diverticulectomey...

does this means.. prostate is the commonest cause..??
