its hepatitus B responsible for fulminant hepatic failure in pregnancy n liver chirrohsis in new borns ,if mother establishes hep-b inf during pregnancy.

YAAR BUT JUST READ DUTTA IT SAYS THAT THE CHANCE OF MATERNAL MORTALITY IN HEP B IS 1% DUE TO FULMINANT HEP FAILURE

AND THAT DUE TO HEF E IS 15 -20%

SO WHAT ABT THIS EXPLANATION

I ADMIT THAT THE CHANCE OF INFN WITH HEP B IS MORE THAN THAT WITH HEP E BUT WE ARE CONSCIDERING THAT FACT THAT MORTALITY IS DUE TO WHICH ONE


SO I THINK THE ANS SHOULD BE HEP B
