RxPG - JIPMER 2005 PG Courses notification

NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION TO POSTGRADUATE COURSES - SESSION 2005

Applications are invited in the prescribed form supplied by this Institute from RESIDENT INDIAN NATIONALS for admission to Postgraduate (M.D./M.S. Degree and Diploma) Courses for the Session, 2005 at JIPMER, Pondicherry - 605 006.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should have passed MBBS Degree of any University recognized by the Pondicherry University and Medical Council of India and should have obtained permanent registration. Those who have completed/will be completing the Internship on or before 31st March, 2005 only can apply.

The admission for the above courses is based on an Entrance Examination to be held at Pondicherry on 20.02.2005 (Sunday).

A total of FIFTY THREE seats are available.

The Prospectus and application form can be obtained from the Registrar(Academic), JIPMER, Pondicherry - 605 006 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.450/- for General Candidates and Rs.350/- for SC/ST candidates payable to the Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Pondicherry - 6

The Demand Draft should be drawn on any Nationlised Bank, preferably Bank of Baroda payable at Pondicherry. The request for Prospectus and application along with Crossed Demand Draft and a slip of candidate’s postal address of 2” x 3” size (to send the application to the candidate) should reach the Registrar(Academic), JIPMER, Pondicherry - 605 006 on or before 04.12.2004. Money Order/Cheque/Postal Order/DDs drawn other than Nationalised Banks or any other form of payment will not be accepted.

The Prospectus and application form can also be obtained in person from Administrative Block, JIPMER, Pondicherry on any working day from 09.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 02.15 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. (Saturday’s upto 12.30 p.m.) till 23.12.2004 on cash payment.

The last date for the receipt of filled in application in the prescribed form at this Institute is 23.12.2004 till 04.30 p.m.
