Here are few valuable suggestions on what to choose in AIPGE counseling.

Pediatrics - Early income but constant.

Gynaecology - YOUR WIFE MUST BE be gyne , otherwise no GOOD earning.

Orthopaedics - Need setup, exponential increasing income.

Medicine - No Investment, High returns, can practise as Cardiologist.

Surgery - No Profit if you quit studying thereafter. need setup & high investment , Risky returns

Anasthesia - Good prospects, need travelling, need good relations with senior surgeons to get cases. No investment. A mobile & bike is enough !

Pathology - Setup is cheap. Returns not garaunteed. Need references from doctors need good relations.

Pharmacology - Good prospects as lecturers get Rs. 60,000 p.m. in Cipla like companies.

Opthalmology - Don't think of earning till 40. Need setup of Rs. 1 crore on loans.

ENT - Can become oncologist. Patients don't pay enough .

Diplomas - short duration, high prospects, early income. Early marriage.

Radio- Need to be attached with big hospitals . You can't practise on your own.

This are few sayings of seniors of about 45 yrs age in these branches .

In AIPGE counseling it's upto you to select the branch for your future ! It happens or may happen the fellow behind you will take a flying career and you simply watch his flying sitting on the ground . Be calm and quiet during AIPGE counseling. Decide branch first then college. Don't go behind stipend becoz all the stipend you earn in 3 yrs is only 1 month income after you start practising.
