Hi Riya! Actually you've asked a difficult but the best Q in my opinion on this forum: First, let me ask a Q if you don't mind: why did you think you could help the poor only by becoming a Dr? No, there've been no any changes in my priorities because I chose medicine as my profession. I'll continue this shortly! Thanks for your quick reply, Riya! Yeah, you seem to be right! May your "childhood dream" come true! I think you are a medical student in the 3rd year, right? Actually, Maths was my most favourite subject in school and I loved it so much. My mom used to say I should study to become an engineer but my dad used to advise me that I should go for medicine for the reasons you just mentioned for yourself. Why I chose medicine is because I was always thinking about "life after death" - how to prevent this death! I became more interested in Science subjects like Zoology, Botany and Biology, as a result. So I thought I could reach this goal only by choosing medicine and not by engineering. However, it is not at all possible to reach this goal as you know! I took this decision that I should be studying to be a doctor when I was about 12 years old. And you should be blessed to become a doctor, medical or dental. No, my parents are non- medicos, and it's not that I thought I could make lot of money by this profession. And I though I would be happy and satisfied only by this profession. Dont you think so?

If I was given a second chance...
Answer: yes Reason: This's my one & only ambition and life is nothing for me without this blessed profession :)

"Free non commercial service" is an extra beauty of this site! You can easily find any information regarding medical education/jobs through this wonderful site. At present, RxPG community has got 19000+ registered members.However, least number of the members are willing to help other members.I'd appreciate that every member of this RxPG community tries to help others.
