well....just started on the long road to US..hope this road trip pays off..anything else...ummmmmmm..any1 up for fiction reading as a passtime??i'm all for it..my all-time fave:pride n prejudice.. :P

About my nick
well,its very simple really.. my name is aditi.. so i separated the "a" n "diti" n made it a deity.. waise aditi is the name of a goddess in hindu mythology.. n it means other things too.. it means the earth, the universe.. n one meaning that i luv is :- the personification of the infinite.

About my college
#my college was estbd in 1916..so this year we celebrated our 90th annual day..8-) #.........well,its one of the top colleges of india.....i would say perhaps excepting AIIMS,it is the top most :D ...hehe.. #anyways, its LHMC or Lady Hardinge Medical College,Delhi.. #its a centrally governed college,so huge grants are given to our college every year(though i dunno where they disappear!!!) :lol: #u can be here if u come thru' DPMT or if u r a top ranker in CBSE-PMT... #there r various reservations in our college for other UTs without any med.college n for children of defense personnel etc.. #well,as everyone knows its an all-girls college,probably the only one in india #its more like a school, for strict discipline is maintained ( n the teachers here arent sweet as they were in school) #one advantage of being an all-girls, the IQ here is atleast 50% more than a CO-Ed..( the dumb half of human species doesnt exist out here) :lol: :lol: :lol: #its been recently converted into Apex institute of Obs&gynae and Apex institute of Paeds ...........i thing i summed it pretty much up................

I wanted to become a doctor as...

If I was given a second chance...
well, "in the why u wanted to be a doc thread", i said..i never wanted to be a doc... but now i am one... if given a chance wd i change it , wd i like to do sthg else??????? i dont think so.... .....now that i look back, i know i never cd have been anywhere else... ....earlier i thought it ws boring to be a doc, but now i've realised that its a great job ( if u leave the frustrations aside)... i've just realised that just a simple smile from one of ur patients, just a gesture of recognition from a child u just immunised or from their parents, can make my day.... its made me realise that there r so many ppl waiting to be helped...by someone.. n though i might not be able to do much, i can still be their little angel... its made me realise that i may not be able to change the whole world, but i can change the wrong notions held by atleast a few ppl... its made me realise that i am entrusted with a huge responsibility....n somewhere down the line.. m armed with some capability to do it.... :)
